Slow Fashion Festival Dresden: Eine Fotoreportage über die Zukunft der Mode
Die Modeindustrie steht an einem Wendepunkt. Während Fast-Fashion auf Masse und Kurzlebigkeit setzt, beweist die sächsische Kreativszene, dass es auch anders geht. Das Slow Fashion Festival Dresden hat am vergangenen Wochenende die historische Neustädter Markthalle in ein lebendiges Zentrum für nachhaltiges Design, Handwerkskunst und zukunftsfähige Konzepte verwandelt.
Als Reportage-Fotograf:in zieht es mich dorthin, wo gesellschaftlicher Wandel visuell greifbar wird. Mit einer klaren Vision im Gepäck, habe ich das Festival mit meiner Kamera begleitet. Entstanden ist eine Fotoreportage, die die Ästhetik des Wandels zeigt.
Texturen, Details und echte Handwerkskunst im Fokus
Aus fotografischer Sicht ist Massenware oft steril. Nachhaltige Mode dagegen hat Charakter. Beim Slow Fashion Festival Dresden boten die Kollektionen lokaler Designer:innen (wie vom Dresden-Label Slow Up Studio oder dem Modehaus Kletzsch) faszinierende visuelle Kontraste.
Jedes Kleidungsstück erzählt hier eine eigene Geschichte.
Die Highlights: Modenschau des Zentralwerkchors und interaktive Workshops
Ein Höhepunkt war die unkonventionelle Modenschau. Der Zentralwerkchor präsentierte die nachhaltigen Kreationen singend und in Bewegung.
Ergänzt wurde das Festival durch Bildungselemente des textil trainers und kreative Upcycling-Workshops.
Organisiert vom Branchenverband Wir Gestalten Dresden, hat die Eventreihe gezeigt, wie viel Innovationskraft in der regionalen Wirtschaft steckt.
